We believe that each child needs to develop his/her full potential in his/her own unique way and at his/her own developmental pace. It is our desire that a child's first learning experiences be successful ones.
We also believe that children need nurturing caregivers who support them, listen to them, and provide positive guidance for each individual child and group as a whole. We foster self-respect, respect and concern for others, respect for human diversity, and respect for the environment. We strive to accomplish these goals in a pro-social cooperative atmosphere that will also enhance personal expression and foster self-esteem.
We provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment, where children can learn together choosing, discovering, creating, solving problems, playing and interacting with each other.
Daily exposure to the arts and music enhances cultural appreciation and expression.
We believe that respect, communication, support, and continued learning are importante in the lives of adults, both staff and parents. We promote the values of nonviolence, non-racism, and non-ageism throughout the program.
