Calvary Preschool offers the uniqueness of a drop-in, part-time, or full-time program for preschool children. Our location allows us regular walking trips to the library, Louden Nelson park and playground, the fire-station, the city government buildings, and the local stores. We also use the spacious grassy areas surrounding the church. Our concern for conservation, the earth's resources, and animal life is taught through a variety of means:

* recycling
* planting a year round garden
* maintaining a terrarium
* examining small animals and insects when available
* visiting museums
* examining the beach and ocean

Music, art, math and science are offered daily. Our day includes a curriculum schedule where children are grouped according to interest, cognitive, and developmental ability. We have three spacious outside play areas.

Since we are state licensed and inspected regularly, our center and all of our play equipment are approved for health and safety.

Children develop self-confidence from friendships, learn to share and take turns, express their feelings, and just have fun! Our creative and age-appropriate materials and preschool curriculum stimulate learning and provide an excellent preparation for school.

We serve two nutritious snacks: at 9:30 am and at 3:00 pm.
Parents provide lunches.
